Oh my goodness, Kyle and Theresa are a dream. I love their connection, their joy, and their love.

They handled a last-minute, unexpected venue change with such grace and stayed focused on the main thing: their love! They got ready at the Line Hotel, which in my opinion is the coolest hotel in DC. We headed to Meridian Hill Park for their first look and portraits, and they tied the knot and partied the night away at Josephine Butler Parks Center. They told me they loved urban-chic and lush greens. I think it’s safe to say we nailed it.

Kyle and Theresa each planned a wedding day surprise for each other (but they told me, so I could photograph it!) and I’m obsessed with this idea. Kyle wrote Theresa six love notes, one for each year they’ve been together, and had friends and family deliver them every hour leading up to their first look where he delivered one in person. Theresa hired a square dance caller to come to the reception to surprise Kyle with some sweet dance moves.

I love all the thought, love, and energy they put into planning a day that was so uniquely them.
