I give you space to open up and feel like yourselves whether we’re adventuring in the woods, getting down on the dance floor, or sharing a cup of coffee during an in-home sesh.

I give simple directions and prompts that help you connect with each other rather than force you into awkward and uncomfortable “poses.” I create a space to be yourselves and be in the moment with each other, so we can capture the real, honest love you share in the time we spend together.

I’m not going to tell you exactly what to do or put you in cheesy poses. I’m not going to force you into doing a first look or into doing things in a certain way. This is your day. I’m here to be a friend and guide throughout the process.

I love stories. I’m inspired by movies and have applied so much of what I’ve learned about how to tell a good story through my wedding photography. I take a creative photojournalistic approach to set the scene, photographing interactions and candid moments of joy between you and your loved ones, using light and shadows to tell your story. I’m always looking for small details in moments not even realize are happen, like the way your mom is tearing up as you share a dance with your dad.

When you look back on your photos, I want you to remember not just how things looked, but how they felt. I want you to relive those moments forever.
